About the Art --->
Sometimes, no matter what we try to achieve, we fail, especially when you cut off a bigger bite than we can chew. I think that sometimes I set my goals too high, or try to achieve the impossible, and instead of completely stopping the tide, I just slow it to a trickle of rising water. I try, and try, and try to do everything in my power, but still, a little bit of pain slips by me, like a small flood of tide water, and I see it, and I try to stop it, but the water's clinging at my ankles, and I can't run fast enough. The tide reaches everyone I'm trying so hard to protect, and they just stand there, and stare back at me. They'd never say it, but you know what they're thinking: Why didn't you stop it?

They have no fight left. Ether that, or they're expecting me to take all the fights for them. And there's no way I can stop now, because the whole wide ocean would just come and sweep them away, and Whoosh! I'd never see them again.

What if I'm getting tired of fighting, when nothing I do seems to work?

This piece is dedicated to my friend Ashley, whose finally found the path away from the tide.

It's gorgeous. It really is. One thing I'd like to point out though: the horse's shadow should be more flat and beneath it, as the light is coming on an angle from above. Other than that, I love it.
